We are honored to have such splendid supporters of our brand, and Wes Mallard is a walking golfer that is so illustrative of what we are all about. His enjoyment of the game started during the college years at the University of Oregon on the fun tracks in the Eugene, OR area like Laurelwood. As time went on, Wes went on to play professional football and had the chance to play with some great courses that furthered the interest in the game. Some of the favorites included Winged Foot, TPC Scottsdale, TPC Boston, and all of the Bandon Dunes courses (Ranking top to bottom as Pacific or Old Mac, Trails, and finally Bandon).
After college, Wes settled down in Portland, Oregon. While getting back into the game, Wes noticed his brother in-law's Old School bag. At the time, it was branded a Peter Jacobsen Mackenzie Walker, and Wes fell in love with the thing. Before he knew it, his kind wife gifted him a single strap leather Mackenzie Walker and a different kind of appreciation for the game. Whether it is raining or shining, an emphasis on walking is made.
