CHAMBERS BAY - A RECAP

The 2015 US Open was a monumental one for so many reasons. This was our first US Open and first major. Not to sound cliché, but it was an experience unlike any other. The fact that Chambers Bay is practically in our backyard was an added blessing. Our Tartan offering included Douglas Modern, Anderson Modern, Red Stewart, Pendleton's Thunder + Earthquake Jacquard and Shepherd.  In addition to our Tartan Head Covers & Drawsting Pouches, the Seamus Golf team provided personalization by hand stamping our Hand Forged™ Ball Markers and Bag Tags with using a turn of the century anvil.

To our delight, PGA Tour Star/Seamus Supporter, Matt Kuchar stopped by to see Seamus Golf in the merchandise tent.

For the US Open we crafted up a 1 of 1 Flag  Head Cover as well as two of our Spring Mixer Head Covers for Mr. Kuchar as seen below.

The golf course looked amazing in person and on television. This was the first national championship to be played on Fine Fescue. Patrons and viewers might have thought that the course was dead or "On the Edge," but that is not the case. Fescue Grass grows slowly, requires less water, and is drought-resistant. One of our other favorites in the area, Bandon Dunes is also primarily fescue as well.

In closing we loved being a part of the 2015 US Open at Chambers Bay. All of the fans, players and local residents were very gracious as were we. Once again, thank you to everyone who stopped by and visited with the Seamus Golf team.
