The Scrimgeour Ancient Tie is primarily orange and muted olive with black and light blue in the overplaid. The Scrimgeour Clan (also spelled Scrymgeour) were the first to hold the peerage of Earl of Dundee, which was subsequently lost to the crown in 1668 when the first Earl died and it was falsely claimed he had no living male heirs. This falsehood stood until 1953 when the title was reinstated. All ties are made from tartan wool designed and milled in Scotland.
Dimensions of the tie are 56"L x 3.5"W
