Since the early 1900s, Pendleton Woolen Mills has honored America's National Parks with a collection of distinctive park blankets. Glacier Park National Park Blanket was one of the first. Its historic markings and colors date back to the frontier trading posts. Traders would indicate the weight of the blanket offered in exchange for furs by holding up one finger for each pound. The original blankets incorporated three, four or five black stripes in the design, which indicated the value of the blanket. Colors and variations of the original striped theme have been adapted to reflect distinguishing characteristics of each park and blanket in the collection. National Park Blankets are still woven right here in our Pacific Northwest mills, just as they were nearly 100 years ago.

The Glacier National Park Dopp Kit is built to hold everything you need to clean up in the locker room. The iconic Glacier National Park fabric is paired with Tan Waxed Canvas on the ends and interior, making this highly durable and full of backwoods style. The fabric is predominantly rich ivory with forest, crimson, gold, and black large-scale stripes that are continuous across the body of the dopp. Features a strap on one end and tab on the other in Vegetable Tanned Saddle Leather for easy carrying. Each dopp kit is hand cut and sewn by our team of in-house artisans. Made from 100% wool, milled in the Pacific Northwest. Made in the USA.
