The time is upon us for the 2014 Orlando PGA Show, and we will again be exhibiting with our good friends at Jones Golf Bags in booth #6083. This year, we wanted to make the offer to our Seamus golfers that is very compelling. If the team at your club (pro or buyer) that runs the golf shop will be in attendance, drop us an e-mail and send them our way. If they stop by, we will send one of these very special ball marks back with them for you. This week, we are preparing a limited number of hand forged ball marks for the show, so please do make sure they try to make it by early in the show. Each one is made of Stainless Steel, and hand forged in Portland, Oregon by our dear friend Lyle Poulin (the artisan behind our pitchmark repair tools).
In the last couple of years, we have had a presence, however we've never been in a position to create a truly custom and aesthetically appropriate display for our products. This year, however, when your pro comes by, they will notice a difference from last year.
This year, a good friend and supporter of SEAMUS GOLF, Zack Mosnot, suggested he had an idea that could help us and had the ability to help us manufacture the most appropriate and rustic display. We started with some beautiful rustic wood from a barn in the Columbia Gorge.
Each piece was trimmed, and stained on the edges to create the fascia of our PGA show booth. We then laser cut our letters from mahogany, stained them, and placed them by hand on a frosted display.
Placing each letter on the frosted glass by hand was a bit of a task, but in the next photo one can see the delightful finished product. One risk we ran was that they could not be removed because of the strength of the adhesive.
A deep, rich, walnut stain was applied to the top of the table to allow for the our bright and colorful tartan product to display nicely on the table.
On the pallet, along with some completely new products, the beautifully hand crafted table was shipped by freight and will be with us at the show (hopefully in one piece) January 22 to the 24th, 2014.
